Default Going to the Miami Masters

we're going to be in the area March 22nd - 25th and planning on catching the Masters on the 23rd, and 24th.

I'm a TW NTRP 1.0 but the other guys are 4.0 and 4.5's. Even though I'm a 1.0 I can rally the ball back. The other guys are 4.0 and 4.5 but according to the poster in the TW MAC , the North East section is much weaker so they are more like 3.0 - 3.5 so you may have to adjust your expections given how superior the Mid Atlantic is to NY.

Still, we would still like to learn from you MAC masters.

Given that MAC is one full point higher, I would be comparable to a TW MAC NTRP 0.0. Are there any 0.0 in Miami?

I've been playing tennis for 3 decades now, with some breaks and would love to hit with a Miami 0.0+

My friend is a -2.5, he is going to Miami this year. He can hit one or two ball inside the fences, but be patient most of his shots sail out of the court. He has sent two diners to the hospital because his mishits hit them while they were eating on the outdoor rotunda.

That's good. As a 0.0 MAC equivalent, I mostly sit and drink diet coke. That's my tennis technique.

I'm confused. There's only one NTRP scale, no? 1.0 being like first time ever playing tennis...

that's what I thought but there are posters here from MAC, who has override authority (self-granted) to rated players different because they know better. Long story but this happened a few years ago here.

Anyways, according to their standards, I'm a 1.0 in North East but everybody in the North east is, to them, two ratings lower compared to MAC.

Heaven's No! I would never, ever, ever dare to claim such a high ranking, without first spent countless amount of blood, sweat, and tears.

Topaz would hunt me down and declare me yet another lying, arrogant, Long Island tennis player.

No, I'm a humber 0.0 MAC NTRP equivalent.
