This is a great comparison shot. Looks about identical.

This thread defines Talk Tennis perfectly. The thread begins with criticism of Nadal's LEG. It seeks to establish that Nadal's LEG has changed and is now weak. It concludes that Nadal's leg is identical right now to 2012 and 2010. Genius.

these pictures show nadal's leg from rome 2012. even though his quads are more defined because the legs are extended on the run, are tan, and presumably more conditioned, i dont think they're any bigger than the OP's picture.

They dont look the same. Obviously he has lost some weight which makes sense. Putting less pressure on the legs.

Anyway, those pictures, if they were taken yesterday, show he has lost some beef.

Forget the legs.. Nadal looks like he has lost probably 30-40 pounds of muscle through his entire body since 2007-2009..

Dude is SMALL compared to what he used to be

Maybe that's why he doesn't want to wear sleeveless. Delpo look isn't good.

30-40 lbs of muscle... LOL. Do you realize how stupid that statement is? Nadal would look scrawnier than Simon if that was the case.

TW stupidity at its finest.

30-40 lbs would amount to about almost 14 kg of MUSCLE MASS. Those that actually work out know how hard it is to put on that amount of muscle so if Nadal actually had 13 more kg of muscle mass about 6-7 years ago then it would really show nowadays. Heck, if you lose just a couple of pounds in muscle mass you already start to look deflated when compared to your old self.

Here's an actual difference of about 15 pounds of muscle mass between 2 people, with both guys being around 10% body fat, according the website I got this from.

His legs are as strong as ever.

Cannot comment on his knees, though.

From what I have heard, he cannot either.

He looked quite bulky when he won the first Wimbledon against Fed. I was looking at the recording the other day and thought it would do his legs some good if he did lose some of that bulk. I mean Fed is very thin and so is Djokovic (even if it is all muscle)

It was a wise choice to lose all that weight, as he ended up winning 3 slams in 2010, and making 5 slam finals in a row from 2011-12.

The tennis community cares about Nadal's leg or arm more than they care about Federer's entire career.

Right, so we've debunked the myth that his legs have shrivelled.

How about these?

Look its a known fact that a person will have sudden and dramatic muscle loss when taken of PEZ

Nadals leg looks ok to me. I have notoriously skinny chicken legs so I am not gonna start hatin on Nadal.

Nadal started wearing sleeves in January 2009:

It made all the difference. Very hard to judge if there was any muscle loss. But if there was, it helped big time, as he won the Australian Open in 2009, RG, Wimbledon and US Open in 2010.

and when was that concluded? there were merely opinions, but no conclusions. some people say its thinner, some say they see no difference. I see a big difference in the quad region, i think it's from his long injury layoff

so why hasn't he won any tournaments off-clay since 2010? (I'd say it's because he met his match in the pod-using, gluten-free Djoker).

and I have to say, look at those guns....

...and this was at the USO in 2010. After you claim he slimmed down. He may have lost a bit of muscle but that's no proof that he was no longer on PEDs.

Didn't he have a stomach virus? Those can be vicious.

Was laid out for 5 days and lost 15lbs. Couldn't even drink much liquid or it would be tossed up.
