Yeah, the car theft thing has been going on for a couple of years now unfortunately. I teach/string/play at a club in Gville and the woman would have anything from sun passes to wallets and jewelry stolen. But the weirdest thing was that it could happen right in front of you and you wouldn't notice. An Suv had its passenger rear window smashed 30 ft from the closest court located next to the parking lot while a clinic was being given and no one heard or saw anything, they are professionals.

Probably a little bit harder to change names in draw sheets now with the computerized USTA system. I remember my freshmen year at Districts, I had a pretty nice draw. Had an easy first rounder and was the favorite in the next round until I hit a seed in the semis. We got rained out and came back the next day and all of a sudden I was matched up against the number 1 seed! I didn't really care because I'd heard how good the guy was so I wanted to play him. I think I won a game early in the match that gave me some false confidence because I did not win any more after that.

M. Dunn. Played him two years ago. We played the Alachua team this year and I know some of those guys were teaching at clubs in Gainesville. I was out of the lineup for that match so I dont know their names.

I wonder if he could top DT's (a player of past OTC lore) tantrums. His most famous one being where he threw his entire tennis bag over the fence of the facility and one of the old timers took the 5 minute walk to retrieve it and then sell it back to him!

LOL thats awesome. One of the Juniors that played in Gville was playing a city rival and was so angry after they split sets he threw the other players bag over the Fence and refused to walk and get it, and ended up winning the match in the third. Definitely one of the funniest things that I have ever seen

Is SSGator Scott Stevens?? I just looked up Marcs records from 2 years ago lol and the only person he played in the Orlando area was in Dubs, and Stevens was the opponent.

My apologies, sorry about that. Do you guys play mens open tournaments at all? A few years back the draws for mens open tournaments were fairly good in size and quality of players, but I think its fallen a bit
