They must be pretty good. I remember watching Arnaud Clement - he had to dry his almost every point. Tips - rarely see him taking them off to dry them between points. Good luck.

Cool

Tipsy is near-sighted and wears corrective lenses because he is uncomfortable with contacts and prefers to avoid laser correction.

I wear the Flak Jacket's during outdoor play in the summer, and I don't think I've ever had to wipe them down. They really do manage to stay dry somehow haha.

I think I heard a commentator mention during the AO that he is alergic / can't wear contacts and that therefore he is wearing glasses.

Try that in a indoor hall in the winter and we'll speak again...

To me i'm very dissapointed in the glasses, if i knew they fog up that fast i would never bought them in the first place. (Too expensive)

That's unfortunate! I use mine for outdoor play during the summer, and I haven't had an issue. That being said, I don't wear them for vision correction. Only to keep the sun out of my eyes.

Sorry, late to the party and not reading all the replies, but I'll guess he wears the goggles instead of getting lasik corrective surgery is because someone is paying him to wear the goggles. Just a guess.

I wear prescription glasses/goggles when I play tennis. These are the same ones you use to play racquetball. The place where I get my prescription glasses has a few racquetball/sports goggles to choose from. I like the head strap so I don't drop them or if I do get hit in the face /head they don't go popping off and breaking on me. They weren't too expensive and since I have not had a different prescription in years they have lasted me for about 10+ years.

That and he probably wouldn't want to risk any possible complications with surgery

I need to use glasses almost all the time when playing, except on night matches... my eyes are very photosensitive, and my prescription is very high (almost -10). When at night, I use only contacts.

If you have bad vision with a stigmatism, contacts are quite uncomfortable.
