Better control, not mushy after 1 hour, no plastic feel, alot of power. Its gonna be a big winner. My ball was always little short with the normal Tourbite, now with the soft it is couple of feet deeper. I got a reel of 17 soft. If someone wanna try just send me a email. Of course this is my personal opinion about the string and it always depend of your style, racquet, tension etc. Some persons will love it and some won't!!

NTRP 6.0 and Tourbite soft at 38/40lbs!
Can you send me a set? Since you don't have an e-mail link, just click on my user id and send me an e-mail and I will send you my address. I also have some strings available you might want to try.

So when is this string scheduled for release?

Also can anyone compare how soft Tour Bite and Tour Bite Soft rate by naming strings of similar comfort? Thx!

I also waiting for the string to be release as I find Tour Bite to be a crisp string with great spin. I am just looking for a softer poly and hope Tour Bite Soft is the string.

If you like the original Tour Bite, I think you'll fall in love with Tour Bite Soft.. I know I did

I just noticed that the regular Tour Bite 17g is actually 1.20mm. If that's the case with the softy version, then I may be required to try some after all!

I didn't like the original because it was a crisp string and look for something softer in a poly but it definitely offers similar playability to Alu Power at a cheaper price.

I think Tour Bite Soft is about as soft as you can get in a poly without compromising spin IMO....

I can confirm that it is 1.20mm. I got two sets in the mail the other day. I liked the 19g a lot thought it only lasted a couple of hours before I busted a main. I'll be lacing the soft version soon. Should be a good experience.

All I read is Feb. I know dealers and ProShops seem to have it. I am guessing in the next few weeks. I would think the price would be about the same of Tour Bite "Classic".

Will there be a 18g or 19g version available as well?

Okay, glad I didn't buy too many sets of the Yonex Poly Pro Tour string. I want to try this in a gut/poly setup and compare against the Yonex string to see which one is better.

I agree with that! TB soft is really soft but not mushy. It is a good alternative to the hybrid. 17g = 1.20mm

It is officially out and available now! Straight from the Solinco FB page:

TOUR BITE SOFT is now available in 16g (1.30) and 17g (1.20) in both sets and reels! Look for it at your local shop and online to give it a try!

I'm guessing TW will have it up for sale soon!

Are you sure there's no 16L. Seems strange that there's such a difference in the gauges otherwise.
