Posted at the USTA Florida blog. He'll be missed. Solid steady player, very good career, some memorable big wins, longevity, and a most unique personality. The real life Rocky Balboa of tennis, Stan Smith I believe it was, said he should go to college but Vince worked out quite a good pro career for himself. He was the only American of his age group who had a successful pro career. Wish the best to Vince in his post tennis playing career. Spadea aint afraidea!

Just saw a new video Vince put up on You Tube talking about this just finished Aussie Open, he discusses Djok, Murray, Fed and Ferrer, it's excellent. Check it out if you can.
Vince would make a great coach. Heard he almost hooked up with Donald Young last year but it fell through, the parents ended up hiring Roger Smith instead.

How about he being a commentator? Seems like he has the talent for that, eventhough I havent followed his career, interviews, etc., that much.

i wouldn't be too surprised if he wasn't doing time! tmz has an entire archive of his villainy. in a nutshell, he's been beating up hookers and unlawfully restraining his "live in personal assistant". rrriiiiiiiggggghhhhhtttt.....
