+1 on those Yonex, they are quality- I like the Sampras a lot too but most often go with a rubberband or notta with some powerpads to just dampen a little.

teh Volkl ones are pretty good, quite heavy though (this can be a good or bad thing, lol)
those Ying and Yang ones are useless, they come flying out all the time for no apparent reason. (thinks it's because they are so small there isn't any pressure on them from the strings) just saying

Prince Vibracap...but they are hard to find and lose easily. Reason why i pick them, is due to them not over dampening.
Else those circle washer kinds with the hole in works great. |

i like the babolat O rings. the small cheapo ones. they're light, dampen pretty well and don't look ugly.

Sampras Dampener is the best to me. It is a soft silicone and that is the secret. You want silicone over regular rubber. It is able to still amplify the feel of the racquet without making it feel too "thuddy" like a rubber band or cheaper dampener.

Had to come back to this.
The black worm dampener is not the one I was referring to in the first page. I use the NXG silencer/dampener, which is more like a traditional rubber dampener that just happens to cover many more strings. The only issue with it is that it adds 5 grams, so people who are finicky about weighting might feel a difference with it on. It never comes off and it kills any and all ping. I use Kevlar mains which sound like glass shattering with no dampener, so it's a necessity.

Consider the possibility that we're not. Or that you are.

I've tried many different ones, and I think the Babolat Loony damps are the best, followed by the Prince Beast.

If you mean the dampener that dampens feel the most, it's not really about preference:

The Babolat custom damp and Wilson pro feel damps are both good, both I have used.

Babolat Custom Damp and Sampras "O" Dampener are the best in my opinion. Light and really dampen the stringbed. The worst are Head Logo Dampeners.

It all depends on how much you want to damp out. Personally, I like almost zero sound or vibration, so I go with Gamma Shockbuster II...
