Can anyone provide any feedback in the Wilson Aggressor? I have an 85 sq inch that is mostly grey with the pws. The frame looks similar to the ps85.
Is this a poor man's version of the ps85? |

I have a black Aggressor with pale yellow/orange striping similar to the PS 85.
The only difference is the material used in the Aggressor. The PS is braided graphite /Kevlar. The Aggressor is just unidirectional graphite. Nice stick...

I have one that looks like this
http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=366383 (Racket no. 2), but have only hit with it briefly. The mold looks different from my PS 6.0 85 re-editions, but not by much. Edges seem a bit sharper, especially at the PWS. Not bad to hit with, but I did not get much feel, spin out of it, but that might have been the (seemingly) very old strings mainly. I will have it strung soon to be able compare directly to the PS. Let us know how it goes with yours

Good stick. I used it in High School mid 80's.
For the record, i did not like the Pro Staff (original). The aggressor was more like 80/20 i think.

I've got 2 of the graphite composite 85's with pws, agressor and avenger.
They feel softer then the prostaff, at least for me Wonderful rackets if u have a singlehanded backhand and an eastern forehand. ![]() ![]() |

They're a bit more flexible and a lot more arm friendly than a prostaff. I've got one leaded up to 14oz with a gut/poly hyrbid. The other one I've left in stock weight with orginal strings (its in inferior condition with previous owner sanding down the bevelles to make it 4 3/8. They did a lam job....).
If you have one, get it They perform quite well in good condition.

Aggressors were 80 graphite/20 fibreglass; Avenger was same mix but 50/50; PS85 80 graphite/20 kevlar; and the Staff was 100 graphite.
