Is the Tennis Channel losing money?

well I think we've about summed it up then. TC should broadcast every event live in order to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy by March of 2013. I've also learned that apparently I buy my TVs from alternate vendors as if I want to mute a particular commentary team I can just hit that weird little mute button and I didn't even have to pay extra for it. Crazy this modern technology.

major props to TC for adding coverage of Chile today(to show Nadal)

You almost never see other sports channels adding coverage of an event at the last minute like that(that's usually determined many months in advance, as has been stated showing live tv is a complicated affair)

of course that probably won't stop the *****ing around here...

2005(the year I got TC) was the first year I ever saw live coverage of non American Masters Series events (watching that entire Nadal-Coria final live was surreal, after 20 years of just seeing Rome edited or on tape delay. or just reading about it in the paper)
And it was the first year I saw non American Davis Cup ties. that alone made it worth the extra cash to me. And it would still be worth it today if that's all they had(but they now have so much more)

Frankly I don't believe anyone complaining about TC could have been following tennis that long. The prescence of tennis on tv prior to TC was extremely limited.

I got TTC in 2005 as well, ordered it in the 5th set of Nadal vs Coria at Rome or Monte Carlo.

I'm stoked they added Vina del Mar as well and it is a fairly unprecedented move. I can't clarify any more than I am not trying to complain about TTC. As a die hard tennis fan, I am just wishing the channel would grow instead of plateau and slightly diminish.
