Default Solinco Tour Bite Soft

Hi TW,

Solinco just announced on their facebook page that they released tour bite soft. Do you have an estimate on when you will have it?
Also, is this the same string we play tested last summer?

Thanks

I'd be interested to know this as well.

We have it in stock now but need to get it ready for the site. If you call in, customer service can manually place it on an order for you. We have sets and reels in 16g and 17g.

I don't know the answer to question 2.

Thanks,
Tiffani, TW

Thanks Tiffany,

Is it the same price as regular tour bite?

If you do find out the answer to #2, I'm sure I can speak for many of the people who play tested the string in that we would like to know.

Thanks

Hi Enderx1x,

I'm pretty sure the price has been set to match the original TB.

Solinco has been tweaking and improving it since it was playtested last summer.

Don't be afraid to use the phone man! It was originally invented for talking.

Yes, the price is the same. $11.50/set and $155/reel. It should be up soon, maybe a week?

Thanks,
Tiffani

I prefer to see my order, as opposed to talking on the phone. I find it easier to catch any mistakes when everything is right in front of me.

TW, do you have any plans to get reels of the 17 gauge?

If I recall from a post several months ago, there is a way to call in to TW and get reduced shipping if we only order 1 set. Is this correct?

mikeler,

Yes, we do offer an alternative shipping method for small items if you call in. We can do first class mail for up to 2 sets of string for $1.50. Delivery time is usually 2 days to 2 weeks with that method, and tracking isn't available for that service.

You do have to call us to choose that option.

Thanks,
Tiffani

OK, that is good info. Now I just have to figure out what I would want for my 2nd pack of string. Decisions, decisions...

It is for any string, but I believe this is for US addresses only.

Holy cow--I wish I had known that a year ago. I would have bought much more string here!
