Default One set of gut

I have one set of bab vs gut on the way, I play full poly usually but I really am not in the position to buy loads of this stuff, so my question is this, should I try a full bed or a hybrid? What do you guys think? Been trying to weigh this up but struggling!

Thanks

Dom

Definity hybrid, i am a full poly user, and i tried full gut,(mamba gut,and pacific classic)Even thought i srtung them 8lbs higher but i still hate them. There is a huge difference between full poly and full gut. You will probably think full gut is too mushy.
If you string your own racquet, you can do a two piece full gut, if you hate them, cut off the cross and restrung it with poly.If you have never done this before, search up how to do this first.

Hybrid with a decent poly cross. Or use whatever poly you are using as the cross. String the gut 4 pounds or so higher than your poly cross, the cross at your normal tension for full poly. You will love it.

That's a good idea. I've never thought of that.

hybrid. it's what most the top pros use and you are already used to the feel of poly so probably won't have to make a large adjustment as if you had gone with a full bed.

also, you will learn from it and will be able to refine what tensions to use the next time you string.

Hybrid. Put a smooth round poly in the crosses. MSV Co focus comes to mind.

Be warned, you'll like it
