I went back and looked at 8.0 mixed nationals for 2012. I looked only at the semis and finals, on account of how I don't have all day to do this.

I can give you the ratings pairings (ratings for 2012 before bumps) and how those various combinations did.

4.5M/3.5W = 1 win, 2 losses

4.0M/4.0W = 5 wins, 4 losses

4.5W/3.5M = 3 wins, 2 losses

What do you make of that?
