Just tried them this morning in shop (didn't played with them).
I moved my heel to check the stability, and my ankle was "rolling" too easily. For me, it's not as stable as the 2k11 or V9.

The sizing fits the same as 2k11

I for one really enjoy this shoe. Like most people say, go down a half size.

IMO, of the three Nike shoes available today, this is the most comfortable.

As far as I can tell so far (after putting in maybe 18-20 hours in them) the durability is very good!

My only slight complaint is the lateral support. I feel like people are overstating that the lateral support is terrible, and although it is not as laterally stable as a CB, the difference is marginal.

I highly recommend this shoe for anyone wanting to "meet in the middle" when it comes to CB durability and V9 comfort.

I have all the good things to say about this shoe like anyone else have reply.

But they are 2 things that i really dont like.

1. Its REALLY HIGH to the ground compare to my lovely 2k10's. I catch myself when I was in my tip toes my ankle almost twitching a few times even when the shoe is wide.

2. Its not even summer and yesterday practicing outdoor alone at 89 degrees the shoe was cooking my feet. I havent get that problem neither with Asics resolution 2,Vapors models or 2k10's. I did have problem with every Adidas model though(when I used them from 2005-2009).
Dont know if is cause the airmax outsole is black and attract heat.
I dont play at night so I wont be able to said I will used them on those times.

Did anybody have that problem with the plantar heat? ( I put dr. scholls sport gel insole and that keep other shoes even cooler...not in this case with the Airmax)

Well, played for the 5th time in them and I its not for me.

If anybody its interest in this pair of shoe contact me(size 10.5) and can give them for cheap.
Other than that they will be in my closet getting dust.

I really like these shoes, a lot. But has anyone developed a squeak sound when they walk? I've played about 3 hrs in them and my left toe is squeaking like crazy. It's freaking annoying!!

I toe drag fairly heavily. I've only worn them once so can't comment on durability yet.

And regarding sizing, I found they fit true to size. I got my normal size (10) and they felt great. Even tried on 10.5 and they weren't that big on me. For anybody contemplating what size to order, I recommend buying your normal size.

I just bought a pair of these, coming strictly from the Barricades for over three years. These Air Max Cage shoes are roomier than the Barricades, with a higher heel while tapering lower towards the toe box. I have slightly wide feet, so they happen to fit perfectly for me (though I don't understand how ANYONE can knock on shoes that just dont suit their feet--if the shoes don't properly fit then they aren't for YOUR FEET!)

I wore them straight to the courts and played five sets of doubles. Took about half an hour or less of movement to finally break-in, and the initial discomfort was gone. After nearly 3 hours of tennis, my feet didn't ache like how they do with broken in Barricades. They do run a bit longer, but I stuck with my regular size.

One thing that I noticed about the shoes while walking was that the support around my ankles would flex outwards and away from my ankles as I would walk. It looked and felt as though the shoe was peeling/pulling away from my feet, though I didn't have any stability issues while playing. I also chose to lace up from the lowest shoe string holes at the ankles.

I didn't squeak as much as the Barricades, and the lateral support was spot on without having that harsh stabbing feeling I got with the shoulders from the Barricades. I played some spirited tennis tonight and my feet don't feel beat up and IMO these shoes have made me a big fan of Nike over my love for the Barricades and I've ALWAYS disliked Nike shoes, esp. the Vapors from 2007!

I don't care if former Nike Cage fans dislike this shoe, which probably drove them to post their negative reviews, but I am a happy camper with them and just wanted to say thank you to Nike for one upping my favorite shoes of three long years. I is in feet heaven now.
