Capra was standing near a member of Duke's judiciary committee and was overheard saying, "You know, Tar Heels are not such bad people as everyone says." Punishment was swift and severe. She should be thankful it was only one semester.

From the ACC, Virginia and duke advance to the ITA National Indoors championships. No surprises there. I thought North Carolina might have a chance but they lost to Tennessee.

Virginia Regional
#1 Virginia swept North Florida and dropped one match against Arkansas.

USC Regional
#60 Georgia Tech lost a 4-3 decision to Fresno State and then got swept by San Diego State.

Ohio State Regional
#64 Miami won a close 4-3 with LA-Lafayette to earn a beatdown at the hands of Ohio State.

Pepperdine Regional
#33 Florida State barely beat Drake 4-3 and then lost a close one to Pepperdine 5-2.

Duke Regional
#5 Duke swept both Middle Tennessee and Northwestern, while #43 Virginia Tech lost 4-3 decisions to both Northwestern and Middle Tennessee.

Ole Miss Regional
#41 NC State beat out Louisville 4-2 but got swept by Ole Miss.

Illinois Regional
#18 North Carolina won a close 4-3 over Tulsa but lost 4-1 to Tennessee

3-1 Wake Forest. Tiebreak on court 3 for the 2nd set. If Kreyman can win it than Wake will shut the door on Louisville and win 4-1. If Simich takes the tiebreak then its game on as a 3rd set will decide it on courts 3 and 2 and UL leads on court 6. Big big tiebreak

Kreyman won that tiebreak 12-10 apparently, gutty.

Wake is a lot better. They only had 4 players last year as 5 and 6 were sure losses every time they hit the court. They added Jonathan Ho who looks very good early on. Sam Bloom isn't working out though. I would try Morgan Mays in the line-up soon. This team would be top 25 caliber if Renier Moolman had stayed on board. He would have been #4 behind the top 3 and pushed Ho to 5 and Lee to 6. Lee at 6 is scary.

Louisville has dropped this year but I was impressed with WF today too. They're going to be a tough out. Duke coughed up a hairball today. They're better than that so probably a wake up call for them.

South Carolina burying Georgia Tech without Andrew Adams. GT is really bad this year.

well Rakitt's comeback has given GT a little hope. Melian must rally against Cox, that is a match that Melian should be winning.

Andrew Adams was too busy getting his ***** kicked by Daniel Nguyen at the Dallas Challenger. Nguyen won 6-1 6-1 while Adams threw in 10 double faults for good measure.

UNC-Louisville doubles point might be decided by three tiebreakers.

Good. It's never a bad thing when Andrew Adams loses.

41 Louisville knocks off 19 North Carolina

So Louisville loses to NC State and Wake but then beats UNC. What does this say about North Carolina?

Louisville got blown out by Columbia last weekend too. A bad weekend so far; maybe Wake Forest will salvage it by beating Michigan tomorrow.

Boston College is just so bad. They really need to try something different.

NC State really blew it against South Carolina. Won doubles and took 4 first sets. But Norenius(who is proving to be a good freshman) and Thompson blew their set leads. Both were playing better players in Adams and Pinhiero but still disappointing for them that neither could hang on. By the way SC playing Cox over Adams is crazy, just crazy. Needs to be challenged.

- Very tough los for Wake against Tennessee. Reminds me of Clemson's crushing 4-3 loss to the Vols last year. Tough for Ho to have all that pressure on him, his first real pressure spot in college. Hopkins is a good player but over his head at #1 against the better teams and that is slowing Wake just a bit. Although Hopkins did have a nice win over#21 Silverman after the UT match, I would try Prabhakar at #1.

Looks like either Mihov really has improved or his opponents so far has not been good players because had he stayed at OU, he would not crack the top 4 this year, yet he has been winning at #1 for South Carolina... tough to understand.
