Hello everyone, I am about to send my courtbalistics this week to nike to see if the send me a voucher, I've never returned a pair and I'm wondering if these qualify. Thanks in advance.

I think they qualify (foam peaking through outsole), but they still have life in them.

Asics replied to say they thought the shoes were damaged but it was down to wear and tear. Offered to either send them back or give me a pair of GR5s at a decent discount. Fair enough.

It's almost that time again, however I'm not sure if Nike might accept it this time even if I make a hole in the shoe.

Anybody know if Nike might be a dick and reject these shoes when I make a hole in them because of the ripped off rubber from their awful quality control?

Nah, I'm 95% sure it's still acceptable as long as it looks like torn rubber and NOT knife marks or something. I had a similar situation with my barricades but Adidas still took them so I would say you're fine. If it bugs you they may be rejected, you can maybe write a note explaining the quality of the rubber or call in advance and ask?

I'm sending back my 4.3's later today after the left heel support decided to give up, theres a nice big crack along the back bubble and there is no support in them.

Hoping I get a refund or an exchange.

Unless your outsole has been worn down to the midsole within the 6 month period, Nike will not issue a refund/exchange for cracked air max units.

They are also worn on the outsole.

I also have already spoken to the peoples at Nike about my issue.

I have same problems. every 4.3 airmax were cracked but I also worn out outsole. I think the reason for the cracking problem is almost no rubber at heel area.

Mind was sent last week and it took just one day to approve the claim.
it's 6 month warranty not manufacture defect claim.

I did not have any cracking issues for 1.3-3.3 even though outsole was worn out at heel areas but this problems started to develop as soon as midsole is started to show for 4.3. basically 4.3 have one to two week shorter life than 1.3-3.3 CB because of this cracking issues.
midsole is already exposed from bottom and side of heel area.

Forgot to snap a picture, but I sent in some GR4's that had just barely broken through to the foam, and I got a quick replacement (within a week). Although I asked quite nicely for a pair of GR5's, I got the 4's again.

I have the exact same problem. Shame Nike UK dont do this and I most probably have to spend another £120 on a NEW pair of shoes that are only 3 months old..

It's worth emailing Nike UK to complain, they might offer you a discount on a new pair - Asics UK did with me.

I don't know about you, but I can't afford to wait for a hole to happen, b/c as soon as the thread is gone, I start slipping badly in my Ballistecs 4.3 and don't want to risk an injury!

The shoes was 1.3.
For 4.3, I got a hole and AirMax cracking before it goes bald.

I never get holes in the 4.3, but the thread goes bald fast enough, especially on the right foot (sometimes even after a month and almost for sure after 3 months). Once I start losing my footing and slipping badly I just send them back.
