Cool

Say hello to the '13RG champion...Paul Capdeville! Conqueror of the conqueror! Is there any doubt after the Chilean veteran pounded the Zeballos into submission today???

Kind of like the long Rotterdam thread for a nothing tourney full of hard court scrubs.

He withdrew in fact - from the doubles match

What? For real? Where did you read this? Was he afraid to lose to Zeballos in singles AND doubles?

The commentator has announced it after Chardy match. Explaining Rafa decided to rest his knee ahead of tomorrow match. Adding it had nothing to do with Nadal's comments on the quality of courts. Worth mentioning a lot of boos from the audience

okay.. this is really lame. His fans wait 7 for months for him to play again, thinking "at least he will finally be injury free now". And the guy comes back with more problems than he had before! I also don't like the fact that he barely beat his opponents and then doesn't play the next round, if he wasn't going to play doubles anyway he shouldn't have played the first round either so that Andujar and Garcia-Lopez could play the second round.

just realised how bottom heavy the draw is. Monaco, Almagro and Nalbandian all in the bottom half. So Nadal has an easy route to the final but will probably be playing a quality opponent there.

I can't believe Nadal hasn't played a singles match yet. It's almost Friday where I am.

The match between Berlocq and Ramos is delayed because the court has holes in it and they are trying to cover them up.

I've read that Rafa went to practice at a different location yesterday. I don't understand why he hasn't pulled out of singles too. These conditions are terrible and he could get injured.

Pico Monaco is just out to Bollelli.

Almagro must be on drugs or something. Forced to a 3rd set against Paul Capdeville.
