Default Texas Tech job posting for men's tennis coach

Looks like Texas Tech is looking for a new men's coach

It is kind of surprising that they are posting the job since Ferriera was named Associate Head Coach this past fall.

Yea great.......team has what 7 or 8 Brazilians - that's all Ferriera does recruit São Paulo.

Tech will also think they are a premier team and look for a new coach with 5+ yrs of being a head coach.

Head coach announced in December that he will retire at the end of the year.

I don't know what you mean by a premier team, but they are a pretty good program. In his 20 years they've done pretty well and cracked the top 25 more than a few times.

Ferreira is hit and miss. He has deep connections in Brazil but often dosen't get the premier Brazilians. Raony Carvalho had the prettiest forehand in college tennis but was a headcase. The recent Tech teams have been quite good, strong at the top. This new group of Brazilians haven't shown much yet though
