i think tournaments like these should stream online on their main site. the more people tune in, talk about the tournament, remember the odd trick shot or upset the more likely it is for people to actually want to see it live.
it will also help give the sponsors more bang for their buck.

OR... change the surface to grass so it isn't just another, also ran, 250 event!

SAP open did stream it live on their site last year or the year before, it was high quality too. Too bad they canned the stream.

What up with the young americans going down in droves, Harrison, Sock and Sweeting out early. At least Smyzeck moves through. Now its up to him, Isner, Sam Q, Young/Russel, Johnson to represent!

Gotta root for the scrappy Smyczek. I'm fast becoming a fan of this guy.

He outplayed Ferrer for a set and a half at the Aussie.

Cool

Johnson's win over Ivo (3rd set TB) sets up an interesting contrast in styles and stories with him and Smee.

Johnson has the serve/FH combo associated with the "tall American" syndrome. He honed the skills in NCAA competition.

Smyczek took the opposite route, going straight from junior tennis onto the Futures and Challenger circuits. Quick and dogged would be a couple of adjectives to describe his game.

They played in Maui last month...Smee took it 3 and 3.

This one should be closer...I like the indoor setting to give Johnson a slight edge.

Pospisil playing Isner very well. Took the first set to a tiebreak and just got a break in the second.

Wow, Pospisil takes the second set 6-2, breaking twice. Didn`t expect that.

Really can't stand the tennis channel. Show matches that already took place instead of showing live action.

why did they stop doing the LIVE video cam ? Is it due to lack of budget ?

I wonder how much Smyczek is getting paid to throw the match against Johnson.

Did you bet a bit on Smee, Romeo? I'm sorry you ignored my advice from above post.

I should have listened to your advice. Luckily my large bet on Kvitova made me win for the day. She almost gave me a stroke though lol.

You might be wise in investing in a pacemaker if you're regularly touting the WTA!

Querrey only just managed to hold that set in the end. Somehow lost it midway through there.

He played awful that match, especially considering his performance against Verdasco, looked like two different players. Dissapointed in Tim
