Indiana used to do a pizza deal a few years ago too with I think $5 all you can eat pizza at a selected mens tennis game. A bunch of frat kids came and were trashed and dancing on the courts between points and they had to call the cops, the promotion went away lol.

Apparently Ohio State team staff members were clapping wood blocks together at the Texas A&M match. That's a new one.

It's about time that Kentucky flopped Murra and Minc.

The past weekend for Stanford was tough to look at. 2 loses to USC and UCLA with a combined match record of 1-13.

Kentucky needs to shake up the middle of their lineup gomez and murra just aren't cutting it. They haven't won a match all year against a ranked team. When your #3 and #4 are 0-10 there is no way you're going to go far into the playoffs.

They should move Minc up to 3. Slide Gomez down to 4 and put Murra at 5 or 6.

Minc up to 3, Gomez to 4, Roberts to 5 and try Lai at 6.

That's how the Wildcats should roll in Seattle.

Default Vanderbilt 4 Memphis 2

Andfor, I caught the singles portion of yesterday's Vanderbilt/Memphis match and have some video of a few random points mainly at 1, 3, and 5 singles if you want to check it out. Vandy was playing without Gonzales Austin so everyone was playing up a spot but aside from 2 and 3 singles Vandy was stronger. I think Vrnak won every point I got on tape against Rhys "Unforced Error Machine" Johnson. Grimal hits kind of a strange ball - tries to hit over it almost - not a ton of pace. I didn't watch much of Glennon at 2 but he was winning most games at love.

VU-Memphis Singles Results
1. No. 22 Ryan Lipman (Vanderbilt) def. No. 73 Joe Salisbury (Memphis) 7-5, 7-6(10-8 )
2. Connor Glennon (Memphis) def. Jeff Offerdahl (Vanderbilt) 6-1, 6-1
3. Lukas Vrnak (Memphis) def. Rhys Johnson (Vanderbilt) 6-3, 6-3
4. Marc van der Merwe (Vanderbilt) def. David O’Hare (Memphis) 6-4, 6-4
5. Kris Yee (Vanderbilt) def. Johnny Grimal (Memphis) 6-3, 6-3
6. Anton Kovrigin (Vanderbilt) vs. David O’Leary (Memphis) 7-6(7-3), unfinished

VU-Memphis Doubles Results
1. Lipman/van der Merwe (Vanderbilt) def. Glennon/De Zutter (Memphis) 8-2
2. Eswaran/Kovrigin (Vanderbilt) vs. O’Hare/Salisbury (Memphis) 6-7
3. Offerdahl/Johnson (Vanderbilt) def. O’Leary/Grimal (Memphis) 8-5

Order of Finish
Singles: 2,3,5,4,1
Doubles: 1,3

Ole Miss added a player to the roster that will be eligible immediately - Adriaan De Toit from South Africa. Had a high ITF Jr. Ranking 258.

Might be the one to shore their #6 position up.

What's up with Illinois (current #17)?

They've lost twice to Tennessee (current #13), once to Tulsa (#17)

They've beaten both #5 Duke and #6 Kentucky.

Seems to me that outside the Top 4 or 5 teams, there is a big block of 15-20 teams that basically can all beat each other based on the matchup. Though, maybe that's the case every year.

Illinois still has matches with USC and UVA. Love the bold scheduling.

I think UW wins fairly easily. Ducks haven't played anyone yet so that 8-0 record looks better than it is.
