This thread should be made sticky for all of Nadal's complaints through the year. It will be a LONG thread.

You provide two links that refer to the same source: Fabio Fognini's coach. One, he's not a player Two, you used the plural, meaning there was more than one. And yet you have failed to substantiate this. If someone else had made stupid errors like this, you's be calling them "pathetic".

Pretty lame thread by the way.
The only reason this has made it to 5 pages is because posters keep complaining about Nadal, maybe get new hobbies instead of writing constantly about someone you hate. It has been said multiple/countless/a zillion times that other players have complained about the courts and balls as well. It doesn't matter if it's a 250 tournament, having safe courts and good quality balls should be the standard and not a privilege reserved for slams. |

here's a tweet mentioning: http://www.tennis.com/pro-game/2013/.../#.UR-xTFpwb10
and a few days ago, Nadal complained about the court: http://www.tennis.com/pro-game/2013/.../#.UR-0BFpwb10 More mentioning of other players complaining here - plus a change in Nadal's complaints: While other players have been complaining about the condition of the court at Sao Paulo's Ibirapuera gymnasium, Nadal said the problem lies elsewhere. "The problem is not the court. The problem is the ball which is very bad," he told a post-match press conference. http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stori...254549/1/.html Funny how the court was dangerous just a few days ago, and now the problem is not the court. |

yes these are all about Nadal complaining but I was asking where the zillion complaints are from the other players that Rocky89 talks about. There isn't one quote or actual named player complaining about the courts and balls. All I hear is **crickets**. ![]()

Nah Clarky21 is a great poster who tells it like it is. No sugar coating around it.

Here he is complaining to the umpire Carlos Bernardes after the final because he was given a time warning during the match. He's bullied Bernardes before. This is nothing new.

It looks to me like Nadal didn't like Bernardes' response, as he pulled a face as he turned away. Totally out of order to berate the umpire like that.
How anyone can say Nadal is humble, completely baffles me. He has become an arrogant prima donna, dismissing the rules as if they don't apply to him.

There's a certain other top player who actually has behaved in an inappropriate way with umpires.

Considering he's supposed to be so fit, why is it that he needs more time than other players between points? Why is it that be breaks the rules by taking longer than he should? Because he has no respect for the rules, if they don't suit him. He's a disgrace to the game.

I don't think this has anything to do with fitness, when he received the violation it was obvious he was signalling that his face was dripping with sweat and he wasn't getting enough time to wipe it down. Did you watch the match? he was sweating like a tap. Hardly disrespecting the rules or disgracing the game. He isn't the thug you are painting him to be. |

When a player breaks the rules and goes unpunished, he gains ground on the players, that respect them. I genuinely believe, that, if need be, Wafa can play with the new rules. However, the mental edge from such a thing will be gone.
