Are there any rules when it comes to taking videos during junior matches? I used to take video with a camcorder and tripod, and no one ever complained. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a wide enough shot, or - more often - there were several courts between where I sit and where the court on which my son is playing.
I just ordered the QM-1 camera mount (
www.mytennistools.com), and it looks like it will prove to be an invaluable teaching tool. Do you think hanging a camera on the outside of the back fence of a court is any different from the aforementioned way I described?
I was told by a USTA official that I need to ask the tournament director as well as the opponents if it is okay to record, but I can't find any specific rules that is relevant to this issue.
Thanks in advance for your help.
