Default Origin of Bryan Bros chest bump

Was it from the Red Hot Chili Peppers Higher Ground video - Flea and Keidis do a perfect chest bump in the beginning of video - or was it from the Jensens?

Also, Bryan has said Leander Paes trash talked the Bryans at one match and said they stole the Chest bump from him lol.

Can we Sherlock Holmes the exact origin of the chest bump?

Great video thanks for sharing. The Bryans might have gotten it from the Red Hit Chili Peppers Higher Ground video, which is from the late 80s. Or the Peppers got it from the Bryans. It's one or the other.

Cool to hear that Venus initiated the chest thump at Wimbledon ) Never would have thought that as V is usually all business out there.

NBA players do it all the time. Magic Johnson used to do it a lot in the 80s with their fellow Lakers.

And I'm sure they didn't invent it. It has to be older than that.

The origin of the chest bump goes back to the deepest recesses of the Congo. Mountain gorillas, specifically silver back males born from the same female were known to greet each other in such a manner.

he's a gastroenterologist in Pennsylvania. My being a psychiatrist spawned all the familiar references, such as "nuts and butts," "odds and ends," and others.

These references are not "familiar" to me. I assume it is standard humor in the medical field

Though I would have thought butts and ends would be more apt for proctologists.

Well, it's better than a groin bump, IMHO.

One of the ATP men should join a mixed doubles with Julia Görges and convince her to do a chest bump..

I hate it.

If a partner I was playing with tried to chest bump me, that would be the last time we played together. I would probably do an O'le turn and let him chest bump air.

On the other hand, if it was Kaley Cuoco…

I've seen Leander doing it a while back. Was it with radek ?

I think it looks cool.
