Used High End Stringing Machines

Hi, I am a stringer and am looking for a used professional stringing machine at great prices! I live in SD, so we will probably have to ship. Just reply to this post with what you are willing to sell!!!

I have an Eagnas Smart 3000 constant pull stringing machine that I am willing to part with. To the best of my recollection it is 10 years old. I used it mostly for family and friends for about 5 years until I began stringing for hire and bought a Laserfibre/Stringway machine. It was a great machine and I've kept it as a backup but recently got a small tabletop drop weight machine in the unlikely event that my Laserfibre breaks down. A friend who is a machinist borrowed it two years ago to learn to string on and reworked the clamps and a screw inside the tension head which stops the rotation at the end of the pull. The slot in the screw would eventually break the microswitch which was a pain to replace. He fixed it so that would not happen again and the clamps are just like new. The machine can be a tabletop but I purchased the stand for it shortly after I bought it. Eagnas has gotten some bad press for their customer service but the one time in 10 years that I needed them, they were fine and shipped me out a new micro-switch and replacement instructions right away.

I've had the opportunity to use several top end stringing machines and I have to say that this Eagnas Smart 3000 is a great machine for the price. It is easy to use and produces very consistant results comparable to any of the machines I have used. It has a six-point mounting system and diamond coated clamps. If you check out the current model on the Eagnas website the only difference I could see was the clamps. They have thumb-adjustable clamps while the ones on this machine are levers.

I would sell this machine for $350 plus whatever shipping turns out to be.

Hey, I have a Babolat Star 5. Condition is excellent as it only has 125 string jobs on it. How much would you be willing to offer for it? It may be out of the question though since the machine is heavy and shipping would be expensive, unless you have somebody who could pick up in south florida and deliver.

Yeah, I would LOVE to have a Star 5, but like you said you are about 2000 miles away from me.

Otherwise I would buy it!
