What a stupid thread. Sorry if I ruin the mood but.. really?
Yeah it's a nice shot, but I had already seen it somewhere else and it doesn't belong in this thread or even on this forum.

Edit: wow I sound like a debby downer.

sometimes Simon generates surprising power with his FH. most of the time he is just pushing it over but every once in a while (once in a leap year)he unleashes a bomb.

a tennis player needs to do that...if fed wants to be considered goat he not only has to have all the records he's got to have the goat shot, the single greatest/most extraordinary/difficult shot ever hit on his resume...do it!

Not really all that difficult. I've done it in tennis, table tennis and badminton. I'm certain the Federer has hit this shot quite a few times himself.

i'd like to see it, but i didn't necessarily mean this shot as the greatest but wouldn't it be cool to be known for hitting the single greatest shot in tennis history?..certainly it would help if you could do it in a major final

For me two at come to mind......

1. 1977 USO final - the match point from Vilas to beat Jimbo 6 - 0 in he final set!!!!! Huge

2. 2011 USO Semi Nope at 3-5 down in the 5th set and at match point down hit that screaming winner return off a huge Federer serve......then came back to win.
