big re-match this Friday USC and UCLA .. again and again and agian ... Marks Stadium is going to rock.. so who takes this one?

remember this past week, was won by USC on the last match tie-breaker in the 3rd set... last year UCLA came in and snapped USC's home winning streak... this has to be the best rivalry in college tennis right now...

Do they play twice this year, or is this the only scheduled matchup (not including potential NCAA meeting)?

The California Pac-12 schools play each other twice in the regular season. the first does not count in the conference standings, the second one does.

So it's possible they will play five times this year.

Okay, thanks. ITA Indoors, 2 regular season matchups, NCAAs. What is the potential 5th match? Is Pac-12 actually going to have a team conference tournament now with the addition of new members?

They had a team tournament last year, and USC beat UCLA in the final, after UCLA had pulled off the upset a week earlier with the stacked lineup. The stack was disallowed in the PAC-12 tourney, then UCLA got away with it again in the NCAA tourney but fell short of the upset that time.

Didn't realize there was a team tourney last year. That's a fairly new thing, right? I remember the PAC did the individual tournament instead of team up until fairly recently.
