The oil industry has a terrible track record with all the spills and people's water being flammable from fracking. So I would hope the administration would make them jump through hoops to drill on fed lands.

So yeah....the deception works, but not the way you think it does.
I would love to hear your explanation on how water physically becomes flammable from "fracking". With respect to spills, yes accidents happen. But you want to talk deception, perhaps you should look up how many birds get killed from crashing into windows or domestic cats EVERY DAY and compare that to the TOTAL number of birds killed as a result of the Exxon Valdez spill. Or maybe how many gallons of oil naturally seeped out from the seabeds over time versus how much was spilled from the Macondo tragedy.

Always cracks me up that many of the good folks who have demonized "big oil", through ignorance or otherwise, have no problems getting around in an SUV .

Lots of drilling going on, because demand worldwide is high enough to justify it. But not enough drilling to create so much supply that demand is easily satisfied and the prices go down drastically.

How are prices being manipulated?

Doesn't matter where it's drilled. US oil supply is up and is not a "simple" and sole reason we have high gas prices as BB suggested. That's all I was pointing out.

Like most of the things you buy, oil prices are affected by supply and demand. However, oil prices are primarily controlled by oil futures contracts, which are traded on the commodities futures exchanges. The price depends on what investors think the price of oil will be in the future. When traders think oil will be high, they bid it up even higher. In this way, commodities traders create a self-fulfilling prophecy by bidding up oil futures prices. This leads to an asset bubble. Unfortunately, the one who pays for this bubble is you!
Do you think by any chance these guys are hering and seeing what dummy is doing from the White House , so when 25 rigs are being shut down and pipelines are being veto'd then when they are trading on the market they jack us , pretty simple math ,,,,, like trying to outlaw gun the sales spike pretty simple to see who is causing the sale spike unless your willfully blind ?

The water itself is not flammable of course, the gas coming up through the wells is.
Crude oil prices, the stuff GASOLINE comes from and prone to spills, is near historic highs and what Brad and the rest of us were referring to. NATURAL GAS prices, the stuff used to heat homes and the culprit in your clip, is near historic lows. Just make sure you differentiate the two commodities on your youtube searches or discussion of market manipulation.

Typical ignorant rant to blame the "dummy" at the top having no experience or education on the subject yourself. Sure, that's easy. You could have you own AM radio political show!

Don't get this thread deleted.

OK, just to get something related to tennis here, I'll ask TCF a question in relation to his 12 year rule.

If a player first started playing competitive tennis as the bottom guy on a high school team in his junior year in high school and played in Spring and Summer. Then he started playing year-round for the first time in his life in the Spring of his Senior year and by the Spring of his Freshman year in college (no longer a junior) could beat the lower-ranked guys on top 20 Division 1 college teams and all the top juniors in the state. What would be his potential?

Back to tennis. Big win for Sock over Roanic. I saw each guy's last match- never would have preidicted a Sock win yesterday. In last match Sock played very poor 2nd set in a straight set loss. Roanic looked like Superman in San Jose final. BTW I just randomly looked up the ITF junior ranking of 3 top 100 pro- Dolgopolov, Granollers, and Phau. Dolgopolov got to an ITF high in juniors in the 20's. Granollers and Phau in the 200-300's. The theory that over 90% top pros were top juniors- not true.

I would like to know if the 12 year rule is scientific or speculative ?
