Good win for Tomic over Klizan 7-7 in 3rd set. Really want him to rise in the rankings so he has chances in the slams!

It seems both Tomic and Dimitrov may be ready for breaking top 20 by the end of the season. I hope they do. Tennis badly needs an injection of fresh blood right now.

Good win alright, glad to see it. I am more concerned about Gulbis and am hoping he can make top 20 this year. He says he will do it for sure

Me too i like Tomic, i hope one day he is a No.1, one of my favourite players. I love his style and personality on court, got the swagger and confidence but not to over confident, nice balance. He's still young though, 17 is he? many years ahead of him.

You wish. That would make him the next Nadal or Djokovic. He's 20, which is still pretty young.

LOL. He says that every year. I would love to see him knock Berdych out of the box, though. So if he beats Niemenen he will get his chance (assuming he can get through two matches in a row in the same state of mind).

oh and Berdych will do the face at the end. You know the one he does!? As if to patronize his opponent by saying "yeah not bad"!

Looks like another good performance by Llodra could be in the works. He doesn't play well most of the time but 1 or 2 tournaments of the year he shows up somehow.

llodra had a shot, break point to serve for it but delpo pulls it out 7-5 in the 3rd.....looks like tsonga-delpo in semis to face berdych in final...these three guys are kind of grouped together in my mind as far as trying to break through the top 4 to win a major, even though obviously delpo already has one...boy does that seem long ago..i kind of put ferrer in his own category whether he's ranked 4 or 5

not much talk about this tournament but weekend should be good...ferrer against almagro final in argentina would be good too...david's got nalbandian in a few minutes, interested to see that result, if nalby can hang

Llodra vs. Delpo was an awesome match... sad for Llodra, had a matchpoint but Delpo aced to save it. Mika actually made more points than delpo in the match, but that's the way tennis is.

Delpo showed he is mentally tough this match. Kept his cool and will be threat at the remaining slams.

GSM Jerzy 7-6 (0) 6-3

Will be big in the future... faces Berdych next.

By simple logic can now easily beat Federer
