I am starting a company to market human gut. I have too many friends and some of them can be used for this purpose.

I have decided on the brand name. It will be called Evolved Gut, indicating that humans are more evolved than cats.
Fat people will be used for 16 gauge, medium ones for 17, and the slim ones for 18. Marketing slogan is being prepared, but it will be something like: You play against humans, not cats. Use Evolved Gut. |

sureshs, not to sound 'tripe' or anything *rimshot* but how about the string names (depending on their playing characteristics) such as
Power: "Can-a-Ball" Playability: "Human Touch" Coated: "Foreskin" Hybrid: "Polytripe" Durability: "Intestinal Fortitude" Cheap: "Fatso Synthetic"

I am happy that the idea has so much support. It requires lots of guts.

think how much it would cost though. vs is like 50 dollars a set.
but if I could make gut string from any animal I would choose buffalo. those things are huge and I bet their guts can withstand a ton.

There are 7 billion human beings, and far fewer buffalo. So demand and supply indicates that human gut will be cheaper. Also, they will be chosen from poorer parts of the world to drive down the costs.

I can't stomach the thought of straightening my Auntie Jo's guts between points.

I just hope you will spare us vegetarians since our guts are quite weak. Try your friend Tushar, he eats chicken and meat, his guts should be durable. Rafa will get great topspin out of them. Mine will snap while stringing, but should suffice for poseurs like yourself.
