Default ProKennex Kinetic Ki Q5 (295g)

Anyone here using one now or tried it out? Cant seem to find too much real world info on it. Spec-wise its a bit stiff, but the PKs in the past have had quite the arm-friendly reputation here.

Got the demos in the pk q5, a bab pure storm gt, a steam 99s, and a Dunlop bio 500 tour.

Looking for something soft enough for hybrid or full poly to use everyday.

After shadow swinging (rained out) I'm excited about the pk and the psgt

The Dunlop has 69 stiffness labeled on it, but Tw had is at 65, so I'm not sure what to make of that. I was shooting for 65 or less. Threw the steam in as a wildcard and my wife wanted to try it.

Hopefully the rain will break and I can get some time in with the pk and the psgt.

My wife hit some with the steam and wasn't crazy about it until I told her that her balls that typically bounce at shoulder level on me behind the bl were now at my head level+.

The PK Q5 is really nice. I have one and have used it a number of times (I have like a zillion racquet so I don't use it all the time). But it has a really nice feel, and almost feels like I can hit the sweet spot every time.

I really like it a lot.

Thanks. Still raining. Do you know how the handle is constructed on the pk? It doesn't look like the cap pops off, but I do see some type of insert.

Haven't taken off the grip or tried to examine it or anything, so I'm not really sure.

I know someone at PK, I can try to find out if you want.

I have been playing with the Q5 (295) for a few weeks and am liking it. It is very comfortable and plays very solid for a lighter stick. It has decent power and good control. Probably the best volleying stick I've played with. A must demo.
