Are there any indoor courts open to the public or pay as you play in the Cary or Chapel Hill, NC area? Thanks!

Only indoor courts I know of are at the Chapel Hill Tennis Club: http://www.chapelhilltennisclub.com/indoor-tennis.html

Don't know how feasible it is for non-members to get court time or how much it costs...

********* in Raleigh has a court to test demos think they charge like $15 per hr to rent. Although I will worn you its really really fast!

Also Raleigh Racquet Club has permanent indoor clay and bubbled hard courts. Not sure what their cost is but pretty sure open courts are rented to the public.

Yeah G.o.l.f.s.m.i.t.h. on Glenwood in Raleigh has an indoor court for demoing racquets, but I just show up sometimes and hit with a friend of mine. On weekdays they don't usually care.

However, they're closing our their tennis department. Court will be gone in May.

I've been to Chapel Hill Tennis Club. It's nice: great courts and lots of trees surrounding the courts. The pool is awesome too. CHTC has non-summer memberships but they are rather expensive. I'll give them a call and see if they allow crashers.

Sunray & Seth: thanks for the recommendation. I'm going to call g.o.l.f. s.m.i.t.h. Too bad they are closing the tennis department. Wonder if they have rackets at closeouts prices?

Yes.

25% off of all Wilson, Head, and Babolat regardless of model.

From what I've been told (by the guy at the store), most of the other G.o.l.f.s.m.i.t.h.s in the nation, who are also closing out their tennis departments, are sending their stock to Raleigh. I guess Raleigh is one of the larger tennis stores.

Pretty good deals on clothing as well.

Not that I would buy from anywhere other than TW.
