Mizuno volleyball shoe for indoor tennis

I know it's an odd question but, after injuring my foot while playing in Asics followed by a couple of weeks of court, I have returned to playing, but now I am wearing my Mizuno wave running shoes ! They feel better then the Asics, I move around the court better (singles player), and when I try the tennis shoes they feel clunky and my foot hurts in the area I injured (pad of my left foot).
Mizuno does not make a tennis shoe but they do make volleyball shoes. It looks to me like the sole of their volleyball shoes have sections of softer rubber, looks almost "sticky",I think to help plant before jumping. Since I only manage 1 or 2 Sampras style tomahawk overheads per match, that may not be a plus for me.
Just wondering if anyone had tried Mizuno Vball shoes for tennis.

Bad idea. They'll wear quick on the court and offer little support/stability.

Wooden indoor courts would be good with volleyball shoes, regular indoor courts = death in weeks.

Try Mizuno squash shoes. Better lateral support than v'ball shoes.

My friend wears Vball shoes and theyve lasted a few months

I wore some asics "court" (volleyball, etc) shoes for awhile.

they were fine, maybe wore out abit quicker but since i paid $30 bucks for them I'd do it over and over if i could (at that price).

not a good clay court tread though.

I'm really liking the NB (low profile) shoes, i think they just switched to new model. check Joe's NB site on the interwebs.

A Spanish player, Albert Ramos, looks to be playing with Mizuno shoes. At least at Spain's last Davis Cup draw against Canada, he did. Do not know if he still does at IW

a guy i know wears mizuno v-ball shoes for tennis. says he's been using them for tennis for years. other than the fact that they aren't as durable as tennis shoes, he says they work great.
