Default If Djokovic were to play Nadal at RG now, who wins?

So both of them just won their ATP 500 title.

If they were to play RG now, who do you think will win?

Djokovic would clobber Nadal. That is the truth. Nadal seems to be making strides, but Ferrer is nowhere close to Djokovic an any surface.

Rafa is scaredy of darkness and it's night in the Paris now. Novak wins.

If it doesn't rain, Nadal in three. Maybe Novak can put a tie-break, but nothing more.

Novak is 2-12 versus Nadal on clay, that should tell us something.

Nadal kept stopping Fed SLAM, he also looks like he will be the one to prevent a career slam for Novak.

Which 500 title was on clay? OK, you got your answer. For the trivia, both Novak and Rafa won their title in straights this week. I cannot wait for the next clash against each other. Hopefully as soon as IW. It's gonna be grand!

Would be a really tight match before this week I would have said Djoko and I still give him a chance but Nadal has regained the favourites tag for his form this week

We also should not look at this match up in isolation on the basis that there could be some spoilers. In 2011 for instance John Isner took Nadal to 5 sets in the first round of the French Open it remains the only time that Nadal has ever been taken to 5 sets at the French Open!

That match had the potential to shake up the whole tournament!

Djokovic, their matches on clay are usually close and not sure Nadal is moving as well as he was last year.

Couple more months of playing and fully fit for RG and I think Nadal would win.

Who cares who would win right now. Come French Open final Sunday, my pick is Nadal. He's the best clay courter now and that there ever has been by some margin.

lol, didn't read.

Anyway, Nadal would crush Djokovic if they were to play at the French Open right now. And, when it actually happens in 2 months, he's gonna crush him even more.

Federer had to play Peak Nadal on clay. Djokovic doesn't have to worry about that, because peak Nadal on clay is long gone.
