Wow SC vs Clemson and Florida almost the same exact result. 3 cox lost in two tight sets in each, 4 Pinheiro came from a set down in each, 5 Koch won in straights each time, 6 Menzies lost in straights each time. Adams won both times but in 3 vs UF rather than 2 vs Clemson.
The difference was UF took doubles and Clemson took #1 singles. |

Clemson hasn't beaten a team ranked higher than 31 this year and most likely won't. Why don't you take a rest until they beat someone in the top 16.
6 of the 10 wins they have came against unranked teams. They took 1 set against a Georgia team which started 3 freshman and played without their #1. Enough already about Clemson. |

Ole Miss/UGA was interesting in the doubles with a smoky haze floating into town, thankfully it left before the singles started.

You have your own topic "Clemson Tennis" put whatever you want to say about Clemson in there, and then people can choose to read about Clemson if they wish. Stop trying to saturate other topics with Clemson stuff. It's not like they are even a factor in college tennis. They haven't been for a long time. Also, don't start comparing scores. Just because Auburn played Ole Miss and Mississippi State close, that doesn't mean Clemson would have. It's all in the match ups. If you really want to compare scores, Clemson won one set against Georgia, yesterday Ole Miss beat Georgia, it seems to me Clemson wouldn't have a chance in hell against Ole Miss. Again, just because Auburn played them close, it doesn't mean you would. When SEC teams play each other, it's a whole new ballgame.
But since we are talking about Clemson, why does everyone say they have the worst officials (home cooking) in the world. The average age of officials there has got to be 70. If you want to root for a winner. Root for the womens team. Those girls can play. |

Oh man the ESECPN brainwash has translated to other sports. Now I know why Clemson beat auburn and Alanama. The just simply didn't care about playing an ACC team, cause its a whole new ball game when SEC teams play each other.
It's about matchups. I agree. Clemson vs UGA wasn't a good matchup, but that dosent mean Clemson would get killed vs Ole Miss. Just like Clemson beating Auburn dosent mean Auburn can't play well vs Ole Miss. Everyone talks about their favorite team in here from time to time. Not all of my posts are about Clemson. We have Indiana, Memphis, Cal, Minnesota, UNC and more in here talking their teams. And those aren't top teams either. What's wrong with that? Do you want this thread to be all about top 5 maybe 10 teams only? I personally like when the fans of those teams I mentioned post. |

Clemson_tennis is a solid contributor to this board and he knows his stuff. I rarely ever see you post on here, so please don't be telling other people where they should and should not post. And, if you want to talk about useless saturation, talk to Dawgie Dawg. |

Texas-Michigan are playing indoors due to weather. First ever indoor match at Texas. No internet at indoor facility. Scores are being phoned in to someone at the Texas Men's Tennis Twitter account. Looks like #1 doubles might decide the opening point.

Michigan comes from 5-6 down, receiving a break down, at #2 doubles to win it 8-6. From 4-4, they made it to 7-5 DNF at #1 doubles. Michigan takes the doubles point (8-3 at #3 was the first to finish).

What the heck happened to Santa Clara's depth? They have been blown out at 5 and 6 the last few matches. Injuries I think

My apologies to Clemson Tennis and anyone else I may have offended yesterday. I guess I'm just not a Clemson fan, although I root for their womens team. There's a history between Georgia and Clemson, going back to an ugly incident when Jenkins played there. I need to get over it. Again, my sincere apology. By the way I do enjoy the contribution Clemson Tennis brings to the board. It's just a Clemson thing. Sorry

There's no harm in some playful teasing when another fans team has an off night, week, or year. However, if you want to see more posts about your team...post away. This thread is a solid one, talk specific or broad as you want. Someone will correspond with you. |

Baylor takes the doubles point - singles ought to be interesting. Baylor has a good chance in this one.
