I read this on Tennis Week:
"Clad in a black sweat suit, Mike Agassi paced in front of the Tennis Week booth during his son’s match, stopping to sneak a peak at the scoreboard for updates and seemingly surprised by the attention and compliments he received from fans during his book signing. Asked about Andre’s future plans, the father who taught all four of his children tennis said he was not sure if his son had made up his mind on how long he will continue playing, before adding: "With his strokes, if Andre had Roddick’s serve, he could play another 10 years if he wanted to"" He might be right....Andre's longevity is particularly impressive given his style of play and lack of huge serve. If he had Roddick's serve he would undoubtedly be dominating the tour right now. But if "if and buts were candy and nuts..." |
