I heard he's having shoulder surgury. Any updates on how that's going, and if he'll be back? I was disappointed to hear this, and that he wasn't in the US Open.

It will always puzzle me how someone as fit as Coria can be injured all the time. Maybe he opted for the shoulder surgury now to rest and heal up for the Master Cup. Any excuse to spend more time w/ Carla.

He had surgery and he hopes to be back in time for Houston, if he qualiefies. In the meantime, he said he is going to take his wife on a proper honeymoon since they did not do that when they got married. I swear the men on this board are worse gossips than a table full of girls in a high school cafeteria.

i'm starting to wonder whether guys like coria and jc ferrero can have lasting careers in tennis. Both are tremendously talented players, however they are both somewhat slight in build. Tennis is obviously a very demanding sport and requires a lot of endurance and physical conditioning. Perhaps both would be well-served if they were to adopt an andre agassi-like training regimen, because they both possess that kind of talent and it's a shame to see these two guys struggle this year with the various injuries.

steroids are notorious for causing bone demineralization and impared healing. Glad to hear that Coria is paying the price.
