I think he can. My prediction - Henman in 4 sets.
Don't blame me if you lose all your money though! |

I will be rooting for Henman. Timmy deserves a grand slam title under his name.

There was a good article in the new york times. It mentioned how henman has beaten federer 6 of 8 times. Right now, I will be happy if anyone except hewitt wins.

No and to be honest I'm hoping for a Fed-Hewitt final. I think that would be a classic match up.. the consummate attacker vs the counterpuncher.

yes but that's wimbledon which really doesn't favor Hewitt's game.. the balls stay low and he has much less time to get to it and the bounce is uneven.. all of which suits Fed's game. the US open has a higher and more accurate bounce.. speed wise it's probably slightly slower though it's hard to judge never having been there and watching only on telly. I do know Wimbledon though and certainly back in the late 80s/early 90s it was very fast though word is the courts are now slightly slower.
plus Hewitt has since taken his game on to a higher level since Wimbledon. I think it would be a much closer match up. |

now that Haas is out, i'd love to see Henman get a title.
i'm really suprised he's made it this far. With all the attention on other people...mostly Hewitt, Agassi, Roddick, and Federer....Henman has really flown under the radar sorta speak. |

Well, Henman has been under the radar because he's
a) Struggled in ALL of his matches b) Not faced any actual high-caliber opponents. Does he have a chance today? Of course he does. Will he win? Well, I wouldn't bet on it... and even if he does, he will get crushed in the Final by Hewitt. |

And henman hates being favourite to take a match, so at least he's expected to lose his (possible) two more matches!

As much as I like Roger, I will be happy too if Henman can win here. The enormous amount of pressures he had going to Wimbledon is just ridiculous. But I almost see no chance of him winning now with Hewitt in the final. He is not only 0-8 against Hewitt but also only won 2 sets out of all those losses.
But of course he should not be thinking about that yet. Of course Henman has a chance against Federer looking at their h/h but it's also to be noted that those 2 wins Federer had were both on outdoor hardcourt whereas all his losses to were indoor and grass |

I hear domewhere that Ferere's mom is british, is that true?
A great display from Federer today, Henman looked tired, and his serve was not firing at all. He had a few flashes, but seemed completely off his game. |
