Federer in straight sets, easily! He's a much better athlete than McEnroe, moves better, serves harder, and hits both forehand and backhard harder and with more variety than McEnroe.

A better match-up might be Sampras in 1995 vs. Federer in 2004. Be a tough one to call.

As with all the matchups of "Old Generation vs. New Generation," I'll give my prediction -

If they both have to play with Wooden racquets, Mac wins. If they both play with modern equipment, Federer wins.
