Default Juice Light? for a 10 year old - any opinions?

My son really likes the steam 99s but it might be a bit heavy for him. He is also demoing the juice light. Here are the specs:

Head Size:
100 sq. in. / 645.16 sq. cm.
Length: 27in / 68.58cm
Strung Weight: 10.4oz / 294.84g
Balance: 3 pts HH
Swingweight: 324
Stiffness: 73

What do you think of that for someone that age? He is currently playing with the blade lite. He needs something with a a little more mass.

My son is turning ten in a few months and i have debated on rackets for awhile. He is currently playing in 12 champs and mostly plays adults and high school kids. He beats alot of the older 4.0 men. He has been playing with the aeropro lite. The one concern i have is the stiffness of the lite or light version of rackets. To make them playable because they are so light they need to be stiff. My son is switching to and loves the new wilson blade 98 16x 19. It is to early to tell if his swing speed is affected but his acurracy has really improved. I feel heavier and flexible is better for the arm than stiif and light. It will only be heavy for a few months

Hey gpl, ever try something heavier, but head light? My 10YO plays with an 11 ounce racket that is 2 pt HL, 66 stiffness, SW 322. It has enough heft to handle pace, but he can generate good RH speed due to the HL balance. Its good at the net as well.

Thanks BMC9670, I appreciate the input. He really likes the Steam 99s as well. It kind of fits this profile. We will give it another try as well.

The Juice lite is pretty head heavy. Demo as many sub 11oz headlight sticks as possible, then make your decision.
