Either a swing weight of 330 is too much for my child or he needs to get used to it. He played fine but had a harder time against juniors who really busted the ball.

Since I do all the stringing we have experimented with string tensions and have found that the ideal tension ave of 48 lbs works best for my daughters game and current strings..best combo of control, spin and power. She has picked up her old racquet a few times, the babolat aero pro drive, and can't believe she actually played with it, she says it feels like your hitting with a board, very rigid, requiring more effort to hit the ball hard and could feel a lot of tension on her elbow.
I just looked at the specs (i likeee) I think imma order one for my girl to give it a go. Her frames are a year old and have been restrung dozens of times.Time for a few new ones.

The Donnay is back ordered, but the Pure Drive will be here tomorrow. We will start using them both and see how it goes.
She is gonna love the pure drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I always played wilson pro staff but now after playing with the pure drive that is my racket of choice. I string mine a little tighter full poly!!!!!

hey ga tennis, I will be down in Augusta at the Dasani Mayors cup tournament this weekend with my daughter. I would like to get a chance to meet you if possible. I will mostly be at the G14 sites since that is where my daughter will be but I will also be at the G12 sites. I will be down there with Johan Kriek, my daughters coach, along with several other girls from the academy. To find me I will be wearing either a neon green Kriek academy hat or a dark green Nadal signature hat. Anyway, I hope we get to meet and talk some and also I hope your daughter does well.
