When Roger hangs up his racket does any of you think he'll retire with that streak intact? That streak since Wimbledon 2004 is an utterly amazing feat in my opinion and I can't see it being halted any time soon. Gustavo Kuerten I believe was the last person to beat Federer before the quarter finals...correct me if I'm wrong.

Honestly, I'm not nearly as impressed by the streak as I used to be.
Djokovic is now at 11 straight semifinal appearances, so he's about half way to Federer's 23. There's a good chance he gets really close to that. When they seed the top 32 players, and men's tennis clearly lacks depth these days...it's not really that mind-boggling. Federer's avoided a Rosol situation, barely, on several occasions...but he won those matches with his mental strength advantage. |

LOL pure ownage, just because Fed is so great and his records so amazing, people try and downplay them just because he has been around for a while now, it has become the "norm"

There's also a good chance he won't, given his matches against Wawrinka at the Australian this year and against Tsonga at the French last year.

It really is a tribute to both Novak and Roger that they have managed to be this consistent, when you have the occasional huge performances from random top-but-not-elite guys and they still manage to come out on top.
