TW, I notice that when I check on the Yonex VCORE 100S it shows you do not have any 4 1/2" grips in stock. Do you plan to get some more in?
Thank you for your help. TripleB

I'm trying to find something similar to my Dunlop AG 4D 300 with a bit more pop (serves and groundies) and more spin, without losing the solid feel. In your opinion do the Yonex grips run a bit smaller than the Wilson, Babolat, or Dunlop grips? Over the years I've moved down from a 4 5/8" grip (+overgrip) down to a 4 3/8" grip (+overgrip) with my current Dunlop. Just trying to figure out whether to try the 4 3/8" demo or the 4 1/2" demo. I appreciate your help. TripleB

TripleB,
For me personally, I think the grips run right around the same size. I think the biggest difference that separates the Yonex grip from lets say a Wilson is that it does not have a flared buttcap. It is straight down with a very small flare at the bottom. Hope that helps! Brittany, TW

I'm going to demo the Yonex VCore 100S along with the Tecnifibre TFlash 300 Speedflex. What other 2 racquets would you suggest that might be similar to those two? I'm a 4.0/4.5 baseliner looking for big pop (serves and groundies), great maneuverability (so I really whip my forehand crosscourt), heavy spin, and a solid feel. Basically looking to hit all my shots like you hit your backhand the Video Review for the 100S I appreciate all your help. TripleB

TripleB,
If I had to pick two (ok, I am going to pick three) racquets that are similar to the Yonex VCORE 100 S, they would be the Donnay Formula 100, Volkl Organix V1 MP, and the Babolat Pure Drive 2012. They all have great pop, maneuverability, feel, and spin potential. If you want additional information, you can check out this thread where I compare all of them and comment on how the Yonex VCORE 100 S stacks up against them: http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=428118 Brittany, TW

Interestingly enough I had the Volkl V1 Classic Midplus in my list of possible demos. I hit with this racquet when it originally came out and all I remember is huge first serves, plush feel, and a wide beam. To be honest, until recently, I had never even considered going below the 11.3 ounce weight or wider than 22mm. In looking at the 3 versions of the V1 you all offer, I was thinking about the V1 Classic since it came in with a bit more weight. I tried the Pure Drive 2012 and liked a lot about it. I have the Pure Drive Cortex and it almost seemed like it and the PD 2012 came from an entirely different heritige. It may have been the fact that I had my string set up in the Cortex version (poly/synthetic), but I couldn't quite 'feel the ball on the strings' (if that makes sense) as well with the 2012 version. I had forgotten about the Formula 100...I guess because it's a little heavier than the others I've been thinking about trying: Yonex RDiS 200 Lite, Yonex Ezone Xi 100, Wilson BLX Juice 100, Dunlop Biomimetic 500 Tour, and Dunlop AG 4D 500 Tour. I appreciate you taking your time to respond to my post. It has been an enormous help!!! Have a fantastic rest of the week! TripleB

TripleB,
I would pick the Yonex Ezone Xi 100 as I just playtestedthis racquet and really enjoyed it. In fact, the video should be up today with the written to follow in the next week. It is a little different than the VCORE 100 S and I compare them in the video. It has a slightly different head shape which took some time getting used to in addition the sweetspot being a little higher up in the racquet. A sneak peek of the video is that I thought I could get good pop off my groundstrokes and serves with both racquets but felt the VCORE to have more control. I thought the EZone Xi shined up at net. In addition, the Wilson BLX Juice is another good alternative. And also, don't count out the V1, I thought it was much more stable than I first expected. Brittany, TW

I've decided to put the V1 in my demo order...along with the 100S and TFlash 300 SpeedFlex. That leaves one spot for either the Juice 100, Xi 100, Biomimetic 500 Tour, or RDiS 200 Lite. Which 1 do you feel I should go with? Again, I greatly appreciate all your help and advice. Keep up the great work! TripleB

TripleB,
Well, I haven't hit with either the Biomimetic 500 Tour, or RDiS 200 Lite so I can't help there. If you enjoyed the Yonex Ezone Xi 98 and was looking for a tad more power, the Ezone Xi 100 is the way to go. I thought it was very very similar to VCORE 100 S but didn't like the head shape as much. So if you were fine with head shape of the 98 then definitely playtest the 100. Otherwise, the Wilson BLX Juice 100 is also a very good alternative to VCORE 100 S. Good luck and have fun hitting! Brittany, TW PS: The Yonex EZONE Xi video posted and you can check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJEmc...ure=plpp_video
