I'm currently 16 and I want to know when do you stop improving in tennis? I know it's probably individual to everyone.
I think you can still get better at 25 but that's just me Much appreciated. Murray_Fan P.S its for my AS Pe course. Thanks

General observations: In almost all cases, you will improve at a faster rate when you first start out in tennis. You should still be able to improve at age 25, but I would say if you have been playing at least 10 years, you have probably developed your game by then. You can probably tweek a few things and get better, but you're style and level will be defined by then. I'm assuming that you are a serious player and play, compete and practice a lot.

I don't think you ever stop learning. Every match you learn something about your style of play or your opponents style that teaches you something new or make you change the way you have always done something. Every lesson or clinic should make you think about something you are doing and possibly change or improve it.
You will hear the TV analysts talk about how the pros change stuff when they hire a new coach. If they are still learning at their level, how can the rec player say they have stopped learning. Just my 2 cents |

physical peak for most is between 24-30, so some where in there youre probably likely to stop improving but there is techniqually no technical peak at which you cant improve in that sense
