In the USA maybe. In the rest ofthe world ugly, rude, low williamses are not highly appreciated. 90% of the audience all over the world turned on their TVs to watch Sharapova's legs rather than williams and its tennis.

Wow! Almost the same amount of viewers.. I'm surprised it was that close considering Federer vs. Murray was the much more hyped match

I'm surprised it did better than the women's final. Serena is American and Sharapova is attractive so people were guaranteed to tune in. Murray-Federer getting 8.2 million viewers means there are a lot of people interested in seeing tennis itself. Too bad it was such a lousy match on Federer's part.
