Well, let's do the math, difficult as that might be for illustrious graduates of Stanford. Bradley Klahn was beaten 6-3, 6-3, 6-1 by Gasquet. That seems like a total of seven games for Klahn. Steve Johnson currently trails 7-6, 6-2, 2-1. That is nine games so far for Johnson.

I will leave it as an exercise for the reader to determine which number is larger.

too lazy, copying from Zoo tennis:

At the ATP Challenger in Turkey, both Steve Johnson and Denis Kudla picked up second round wins to advance to the quarterfinals, where they will play each other. Johnson and Kudla were in Spain as hitting partners with the US Davis Cup team last weekend. Johnson defeated top seed Malek Jaziri of Tunisia 6-3, 5-7, 6-4, while Kudla, the No. 7 seed, advanced when Jamie Baker of Great Britain retired trailing 5-7, 6-3. 3-1.

Stevie playing Nils Langer #337 from Germany tomorrow in the 1st round of the Orleans Challenger on hard courts- Orleans draw. If he wins he would face David Goffin in the 2nd round.
