I am looking for a string similar to MSV focus hex 1.18 but one that has a little bit better tension maintenance or lasts longer before going dead. Any thoughts? I really like focus hex but I am breaking a full bed of it in less than a week. and i do not like the feeling of it before it breaks

Maybe try some of the Alpha poly strings. I don't play with poly, but the other multi or sg strings they have last longer than other strings I've tried over the past 3 years.

While I have not tried as many polys as some of the other posters here, The only poly I've tried so far that holds tension and stays usuable about as long as focus hex is WC Scorpion. It appears to be more resistant to wear as well.

If you want durability, just go for a thicker gauge CoF hex.
