A few days ago I played a mid-week tournament at a local club where I beat a 1-star recruit and and an unrated player that was ranked lower than me. Unfortunately, I lost in the finals to a different unrated player that was ranked lower than me. I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas how much my tennisrecruiting ratings might go up? I'm not sure if the bad loss and the good win cancel eachother out or what happens.
To go along with the above question, the unrated player that I lost to in the finals has just begun playing USTA Tournaments but he is very good and I think he could become a 3 or 4-star recruit. If he does become a star does the loss shift or will it always say that I have lost to an unrated player? Any help is appreciated, Thank You!!! |

You don't need to worry about the rankings. I have watched way too many really good juniors get caught up in it and it can ruin them. Work hard and play your best, the rest will fall into place.
