The rest is all to play for, including Tsonga, but I think Fed did great in the first week, better than last year IMO. Maybe the bit faster courts and better opposition has contributed to that.

Watching the Fed interview with Courier right now. Pretty funny stuff.

Unfortunately I missed the match, but just watched the highlights. I find it hilarious that the highlights don't show a single point for Raonic!
Also, that serve drop shot is ludicrously amazing!!! |

I find it interesting that Raonic is the same height as Berdych and shorter than Del Potro, Cilic, etc. but has an almost identical game to Isner and Karlovic, i.e. huge serve, awful return, even worse movement, and horrifically inconsistent groundstrokes.

He has been in the world's top 10, beaten Federer in Davis Cup and Djokovic in a Masters Series event, reached a Grand Slam quarterfinal, won by far the longest tennis match of all time and set a huge number of serve records in the process...

Q. Regarding big muscles, we saw Djokovic ripping his shirt. What goes through your mind when you see a guy do this? Could you do this?
ROGER FEDERER: That's exactly what I won't do. Other guys do other things. I'm happy that we're not all the same. I'm definitely not going to do that, especially with my little left arm. It would be a bit embarrassing to do that (laughter). |

Worth the quote, I think.
