Please let us know when they are to meet in a Future. Really wanted to know if hitting deep to the middle would work against this super consistent boy.

It will , the question is can you stick to it ? From matches I have been filming he is very sucsessful with this approach , the problem is , is him sticking to it cause there is something with the ego or ? that they love running the little guy and the little guy loves running , dont give them what they love .

Ernesto Escobedo, age 16, played through qualifying into the main draw for the 10k Futures event in Tijuana Mexico. He has won three matches in the main draw and plays tomorrow in the semifinals.

So 6 points? Which will raise the ranking to about 1060? Very nice little break out to build on! Go Ernesto!

Could be 1008 - 1030 (not to split hairs) but the number of mains to get the points is factored in. So a player who has 8 points and 3 mains, will be higher ranked than 8 points and 6 mains.

Yeah, he's a crafty lefty, think he was top 200 at one point. Very, very fit 45 year old. Colin Altamirano beat 3-2 in SAP pre-qualies, solid win. Then Colin wd injured next match, bummer because I thought he would win the pre's.

Next day flu / fever took over and he was about to pass out after winning the first set. Had a great chance to make the big show quals. Time to get well and move on to the next hurdle. Last edited by GRANITECHIEF : 02-07-2013 at 11:13 AM. |
