I don't know, to be honest, but I wonder how good quinoa and salba would be for tennis players? Perhaps baked into nutritional bars? They're both being hailed as "super foods" and were apparently fed to Inca runners, back in the day, thus giving them the stamina and endurance to run 100 miles at a stretch. I suppose it's possible <g> that someone might since have come up with improved nutrients in the last several centuries, but perhaps these foods are worth considering ...

Mostly water and an electrolyte drink of some kind, plus possibly a carbohydrate gel occasionally.

Some players still eat 'nanas, some eat chocolate, some eat nothing at all!

cheers

Unconfirmed but I heard of a junior in FL a few years ago that was apparently hitting Red Bull on changeovers. This was in the 12s!

Wuss Only eat ripe bananas when the peel is brown and the fruit is mushy enuff to eat with a spoon. Like a smoothie. Banana in a cup.

Try pure coconut water. Way more electrolytes than sports drinks and more potassium than bananas.
