If it's a deep floater, use the extra time to really get in position and load up. Get a good shoulder turn and coil. If it's a shorter put away ball, make sure not to let it drop too low. Get in position early and try to hit it while it's still above the net. If you know you hit a good forcing shot, be prepared to move forward. If you just stand there admiring your shot and their weak return, you won't be prepared for your put away shot.
